Treaty of Lisbon
amending the Treaty on European Union and the Treaty establishing the European Community

The Lisbon Treaty is basically the European Constitution under a different name. It offers many of the powers previously sought to create a Foreign Minister position that would speak for Europe. Regarding who that power has been given in the past, I will let the leaders speak for themselves.

We have finally decided that Europe will speak with one voice, that of Mr. Solana. | Jacques Chirac: Regarding Solana’s visit to Damascus for the Hariri inquiry Solana to Restore EU Ties with Syria (March 9, 2007)

Solana has the power and has had it since January 30, 1999. We are speaking with one voice through Javier Solana. | Madeline Albright: USA Secretary of State Regarding Solana being given sole power to make all further military decisions over NATO Balkan operations.

I agree with Javier Solana’s decision to do this. | Bill Clinton: March 21, 1999 in regards to the forthcoming bombings from the above quote.

Revelation 17:12,13
And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

In short, I will share some excerpts from this new European government structure and show also how it is connected to NATO and thereby the United States to have military and civilian assets available in the event of an emergency as determined by Mr. Europe to conquer terrorist forces if need be to keep order, peace and security. And so by peace many will be destroyed.

The following are excerpts from the documents linked above. The purpose is to show in the documentation how power consolidation is being made such that all resources will be available to the High Representative over the military and civilian forces of the EU and UN:

Article 9e page 9

2. The High Representative shall conduct the Union’s common foreign and security policy. He or she shall contribute by his or her proposals to the development of that policy, which he or she shall carry out as mandated by the Council. The same shall apply to the common security and defence policy.

3. The High Representative shall preside over the Foreign Affairs Council.

Article 13 page 9

3. The common foreign and security policy shall be put into effect by the High Representative and by the Member States, using national and Union resources.

Article 19 page 11 - With the LISBON TREATY Solana has a foot in the UN security Council and has the EU countries there work for his interests:

“Member States which are also members of the United Nations Security Council will concert and keep the other Member States, and the High Representative, fully informed. Member States which are members of the Security Council will, in the execution of their functions, defend the positions and the interests of the Union, without prejudice to their responsibilities under the provisions of the United Nations Charter. When the Union has defined a position on a subject which is on the United Nations Security Council agenda, those Member States which sit on the Security Council shall request that the High Representative be asked to present the Union’s position “[…]

Article 9e page 12

2. Furthermore, the Conference recalls that, as regards the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy whose term of office will start in November 2009 at the same time and for the same duration as the next Commission, he or she will be appointed in accordance with the provision of Articles 9d and 9e of the Treaty on European Union.

Daniel 7:25
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Revelation 13:1-9
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear.

Revelation 17:12-14
And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

I would like to share my reason I believe it will be this generation and that Herb Peters observations and reporting agree. I’ve shared the HIStory, Our Future Bible studies link over and over and decided recently to present the information in shorthand as far as the reason I believe it is significant based on the fact that God’s timeline of prophetic events always revolve around the nation of Israel. And God’s dealing with Israel cannot continue until previous judgments prescribed are completed.

I don’t believe in coincidence and that is what this would have to be if not God’s design spelled out from His Word, here a little and there a little. Isaiah 28:9-13 This is an overview without details in my own words. If you want to verify the individual studies, click the links.

The Escape of the Bride to the Marriage of the Lamb November 2, 2007

Matthew 25:1-13
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

This parable is representative of the rapture of the bride of Christ to the marriage. We can see upon examining some ancient Hebrew wedding traditions how these were physical foreshadows from earthly marriage to the future marriage of the church to Christ. As we will see, this study highlights the importance of obedience to God’s Word as true Christians living a life of selfless love toward God and others. It should also be noted that marriage to Christ is in the spiritual sense of two becoming one like marriage. The church is the body of Christ and He is the head of the church. The head gives direction to the body as God has done in His Word. We are promised to Christ now for a future time when we will be together in more than just spirit. The point of first meeting is upon being called out to meet Him at His coming.

This going out at Christ’s coming to meet Him can be placed in the timeline of prophetic events based on how Christ’s coming is described and a time we are promised escape from. Both Matthew 24:36-39 and Luke 17:26-30 associate Christ’s coming with sudden destruction like the days of Noah and Lot. Prior to both of those times coming, the earth was in a place of spiritual wickedness and ignorance to their impending destruction until it came suddenly and they did not escape. Likewise, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 describes a time when God’s wrath comes beginning the day of the Lord. This time comes suddenly like a thief in the night from which those caught by surprise will not escape. We are warned to not be caught up in the cares of this life and a life of ignorance so this day doesn’t also catch us off guard. Our point of escape from this destruction of God’s wrath is laid out in Luke 21:34-36 regarding a time coming on all them that dwell on the whole earth.

Luke 21:34-36
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earthWatch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Our escape coincides with Christ’s coming followed by sudden destruction. Ephesians 5:1-8 states that God’s wrath is for the children of disobedience whom we are not to be partakers with. So if God’s wrath is for the children of disobedience and we are removed prior to that wrath, a dividing line of obedience vs. disobedience to God is laid out determining who escapes when Christ comes to gather His bride and who does not. This highlights the importance in a Christian trying to remain obedient to God’s Word of selfless love for Him and others.

As you will see, this isn’t just an escape, but the point of departure to attend the marriage of the Lamb. Some interesting points of similarity are highlighted when we examine ancient Hebrew wedding tradition that I believe is relevant to understanding the details of this parable. There are two parts to the marriage according to tradition.
