Bush to call for regional summit on Mideast peace process Haaretz (July 16, 2007) – U.S. President George W. will call for a regional conference on restarting the Middle East peace process during a special address Monday, a U.S. official said ahead of the speach. The U.S. president will also announce $190 million in aid to the Palestinian Authority, the official said. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice would lead the peace conference, which would include representatives of Israel and neighbors in the region, said a senior administration official who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The speech to be given by the U.S. president will express a plan for “activism” on the part of the Bush administration, according to a senior Israeli political source who was briefed in advance about it. Bush’s tone is meant to express his approval of the formation of a new Palestinian Authority government under Salam Fayad, as well as the appointment of former British prime minister Tony Blair as the special envoy for the Quartet of Middle East peace negotiators. White House officials said Bush was planning to rally diplomatic and financial support for Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ government. Does this dividing of the land of Israel fulfill Bible prophecy? Ezekiel 38,39 talks of a relative peace prior to an attack by Russia, Turkey, Iran and Libya among others. If the land is divided and a Palestinian state created, a temporary peace would go into effect. Israelis would be moved from their residence now to that land marked for Israel from this dividing and visa-versa. This sounds a lot like…

Zechariah 14:1-3
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

I believe the Lord going forth to fight these nations could be referring to the day of the Lord, which comes as sudden destruction from the Almighty. Isaiah 13:6-13 The ultimate end of this battle will be at Armageddon when Christ returns in glory and destroys the armies gathered there from the sixth bowl to do battle. America’s participation in this dividing of the land of Israel will come back to haunt us I believe.

Jeremiah 30:20
Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.

Peres sworn in as Israel’s president Breitbart.com (July 15, 2007) – Israel’s elder statesman and Nobel peace laureate Shimon Peres was sworn in president on Sunday, crowning an unrivaled career stretching back half a century. Peres assumes the largely ceremonial post less than three weeks shy of his 84th birthday, replacing the disgraced Moshe Katsav, and will serve a seven-year term as Israel’s ninth president. | Israel |

Related possibly to the news above regarding the dividing of Israel… Daniel 5:28, “PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.” The verb PERES means “to break in two, divide.”

Could the new Israeli President who’s last name means to divide be the one that will help bring about the dividing of the land of Israel to create a Palestinian state? Will that be the fulfillment of the coming dividing of the land of Israel for peace?

Well a few days after initially writing this, I found the following…

President Peres: Time to sever Israel’s biblical heartland Israel Today(July 16, 2007)Just hours before being sworn in as Israel’s ninth president on Sunday, Shimon Peres said the time had come for his nation to surrender its biblical heartland in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) to the Palestinian Arabs. “We have to get rid of the territories,” Peres said in an interview with The Associated Press. The elder statesman insisted, contrary to recent opinion polls, that an overwhelming majority of Israelis agree with him on this issue. In his inauguration speech later in the evening, Peres expounding upon his vision of peace for the Middle East, but Israel National News pointed out that he did not once mention ongoing Arab terrorism against the Jewish state that has made the conclusion of any peace deal impossible. Despite filling a largely ceremonial role, an Israeli diplomatic source told The Jerusalem Post that Peres can be expected to continue behaving like a “one-man foreign ministry” as he works to forward his own agenda. | Israel | Islam | 1st Seal |

Peres is dividing the land of Israel for peace, that is his goal. If that were to happen, Israelis would have to move to Israeli areas or risk falling prey to their new radical Islamic neighbors.

Olmert Offers Judea, Samaria, Divides J’lem in Draft Accord Israel National News (August 31, 2007)Israel has agreed, in writing, to hand over 6,250 square kilometers of land – the equivalent of its entire biblical and strategic heartland – to an Arab terror state. So reports Dr. Guy Bechor, a leading expert on Arab affairs, who also supplies some of the details of the negotiations. Bechor reports, based on “leaks from the Palestinian side,” that Israel has, in the past few days, presented Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas at least one draft of an “agreement of principles.” The agreement calls for a state named Palestine to be established alongside Israel, and have a territory of 6,250 square kilometers: the equivalent of all of Judea, Samaria and Gaza. “Palestine” will be demilitarized. Most of the Jewish communities built in Judea and Samaria over the past 40 years are to demolished and their inhabitants expelled, according to the plan. The remaining communities are to be concentrated in small salients for which the Arab state will be compensated with additional territory elsewhere in present-day Israel. A passage of some sort will connect Gaza and Judea and Samaria. It will be under Jewish sovereignty and Palestinian administration. Israel agrees to redivide Jerusalem. Arab neighborhoods will be under Arab sovereignty and Jewish ones under Jewish sovereignty. Mention is made of “religious areas,” but further details are not known as of yet. Each side will recognize the other’s spiritual needs. The “refugee” question is not mentioned at all, and Bechor reports that this is the main sticking point. Abbas is insisting that Arabs descended from those who fled Israel in 1948 be allowed to return to Israel, at least in principle. Bechor says that Abbas and his men have gone over the draft and are not pleased; they know how to negotiate, he notes. In a recent interview with PA TV, Abbas said that “declarations of principles are a waste of time” and “useless.” What the PA wants, he said, is a clear timetable for establishing Palestine, as well as an Israeli pullback, demolition of Jewish communities and “return of refugees” (i.e., the flooding of Israel with Arab citizens). The Arabs are hoping Israel will become more pliable in November, when an international diplomatic conference, sponsored by the US, is to be held in an attempt to hammer out an accord. An official close to Mahmoud Abbas, Mustafa Bargouti, said that the idea of a conference is “an Israeli trap” and that nothing will come of it. more…

We know what has happened in Gaza with the pullout from there. How long would a Jew last remaining there? Their houses will be rifled and I’m sure women will get ravished if they were to remain. But half is described as remaining. This means that it can’t be the time of Jacob’s trouble because Christ makes it clear that running to the mountains is the only safe place to be. From there they are taken to the wilderness and protected from the antichrist and his master Lucifer the dragon. Revelation 12

Rabbis: ‘Peres must repent’ WorldNet Daily (July 19, 2007) – A group of hundreds of prominent Israeli rabbis today urged veteran politician Shimon Peres to immediately “repent” for calling on the Jewish state to evacuate strategic territory the they fear will be used by terrorists to attack Israel. Peres officially was installed as Israeli president earlier this week. Upon his inauguration, he immediately stated Israel must withdraw from the West Bank, which borders Jerusalem and is within rocket range of Tel Aviv and Israel’s international airport. “We call on Shimon Peres to publicly retract his ‘shameful’ remarks on the day of his inauguration calling for Israel to ‘rid itself of the territories,’ referring to the biblical Judea and Samaria (West Bank),” read a statement by the Rabbinical Congress for Peace, a coalition of more than 350 Israeli rabbinic leaders and pulpit rabbis. “Our sages tell us in the Talmud that when a person assumes an exalted position, all of his sins previously committed are forgiven. But you, Mr. Peres, missed the opportunity to rectify your historical blunders when you declared so blindly that Israel must rid itself of the territories. You caused tremendous damage not only to Jews in Israel but to the status of the Jewish people the world over.” The rabbis called on Peres to “repent, stand up and proclaim with authentic Jewish pride that you no longer support the hazardous and futile formula of ‘territory for peace.'” The rabbinic leaders blasted Peres for leading the 1993 Oslo Accords, in which Israel evacuated strategic territory in exchange for pledges from the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat to refrain from terror and make peace with the Jewish state. “Today it is crystal clear to everyone the Oslo Accords and Israeli evacuations lead to spilling of Jewish blood in all parts of Israel. This is exactly why the Jewish Code of Law forbids Jews to give up a border town – it opens the way for enemies to conquer the land,” the rabbis stated. more…

Another aspect of this dividing centers on the Temple Mount in Jersualem. Bible prophecy is ringing true today as all the nations in the world are dealing with the burdensome stone of Israel and the Middle East.

Zecharaiah 12:1-3
The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

This is the center of the European Union, and Javier Solana’s, push for peace with their 7-year European Neighbourhood Policy I mentioned in the Recommendation 666 post. I believe that when the land of Israel is divided, so too will the Temple Mount be divided so that the Jews can rebuild their temple next to the Dome of the Rock. This is written of in the Bible as well.

Revelation 11:1,2
And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

With the Holy of Holies located at the Dome of the Spirits (Dome of the Tablets), it lines up perfectly with the Golden Gate to the East and if the outer court is not built, fits right next to the Dome of the Rock. Here is a layout of the Temple Mount. There are more images regarding this topic here.

God will never allow a pal state and his land to be divided this is going to bring on the Isaiah 17 war.God said woe to them that divide my land arab or jew.

2. watchmanbiblestudy - August 31, 2007

I agree that the Isaiah 17 destruction of Damascus will soon follow. I believe Israel will catch wind of something from Damascus and destroy that city. It says that they left their cities “because of the children of Israel.” Furthermore, I believe that will be the “hooks in the jaws” that bring Iran, Russia, Turkey, Libya, and others against Israel in the Magog invasion. God will destroy them in the mountains of Israel prompting the return to the ways of their fathers and the rebuilding of the temple.

I believe God will allow the division that I believe is written in Zechariah 14:1,2. I also believe that the nations involved in that will be punished for that involvment, including the U.S. The whole world is pushing for this to happen, dividing the land to the 1967 borders.

And if you recall, at the abomination of desolation there won’t be any Jews left alive in Jerusalem until Christ returns in glory. God has a design for His people, but it involves refining through fire. Zechariah 13:8,9

NO PALESTINIAN STATE – No land concessions R4.

Imagine that the various people who settled in the United States for the past 300 years decided one day that they one to parcel the United States into an independent State just for them, would the American public go for it. The Answer is absolutely NO.

The situation in Israel today is no different. The Arabs there are not Palestinians, there is no such Arab nation as Palestine or Palestinian people.

Europeans countries today are consisting of numerous people from other countries. Would the Europeans people cede part of their country to set up another State in their midst. The answer is absolutely NO.

All the Arabs in Israel and surrounding areas are from the various Arab nations, such as Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon and other Arab nations.

Prominent PLO Arab says there are no ‘Palestinians’ and no “Palestine”

PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein admitted in a March 31, 1977 interview with a Dutch newspaper Trouw.

“The Palestinian people do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism. ”

The Qur’an 17:104 – states the land belongs to the Jewish people

If the historic documents, comments written by eyewitnesses and declarations by the most authoritative Arab scholars are still not enough, let us quote the most important source for Muslim Arabs:
“And thereafter we [Allah] said to the Children of Israel: ‘Dwell securely in the Promised Land. And when the last warning will come to pass, we will gather you together in a mingled crowd’.”.
017.104
YUSUFALI: And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel, “Dwell securely in the land (of promise)”: but when the second of the warnings came to pass, We gathered you together in a mingled crowd.
PICKTHAL: And We said unto the Children of Israel after him: Dwell in the land; but when the promise of the Hereafter cometh to pass We shall bring you as a crowd gathered out of various nations.
SHAKIR: And We said to the Israelites after him: Dwell in the land: and when the promise of the next life shall come to pass, we will bring you both together in judgment.
– Qur’an 17:104 –
Any sincere Muslim must recognize the Land they call “Palestine” as the Jewish Homeland, according to the book considered by Muslims to be the most sacred word and Allah’s ultimate revelation.

Sequence of historical events, agreements and a non-broken series of treaties and resolutions, as laid out by the San Remo Resolution, the League of Nations and the United Nations, gives the Jewish People title to the city of Jerusalem and the rest of Israel totaling approximately 45,000 square miles, as mandated by the League of Nations in July of 1922. The process began at San Remo, Italy, when the four Principal Allied Powers of World War I – Great Britain, France, Italy and Japan – agreed to create a Jewish national home in what is now the Land of Israel. (You might as well break apart Syria which was mandated at the same time).

PS
20 Years of Research Reveals Jerusalem Belongs to Jews

by Hillel Fendel

(IsraelNN.com) Jacques Gauthier, a non-Jewish Canadian lawyer who spent 20 years researching the legal status of Jerusalem, has concluded: “Jerusalem belongs to the Jews, by international law.”.

Gauthier has written a doctoral dissertation on the topic of Jerusalem and its legal history, based on international treaties and resolutions of the past 90 years. The dissertation runs some 1,300 pages, with 3,000 footnotes. Gauthier had to present his thesis to a world-famous Jewish historian and two leading international lawyers – the Jewish one of whom has represented the Palestinian Authority on numerous occasions.

Gauthier’s main point, as summarized by Israpundit editor Ted Belman, is that a non-broken series of treaties and resolutions, as laid out by the San Remo Resolution, the League of Nations and the United Nations, gives the Jewish People title to the city of Jerusalem. The process began at San Remo, Italy, when the four Principal Allied Powers of World War I – Great Britain, France, Italy and Japan – agreed to create a Jewish national home in what is now the Land of Israel.

We must unleash the wrath of G-D against the enemies of Israel and those collaborating with the enemy.

6. Watchman - August 3, 2008

WE cannot unleash God’s wrath, only God can in His timing. What is happening is prophesied to happen and will fulfill God’s design in the end. From what I’m seeing, that judgment written by Ezekiel in chapters 38 & 39 might be coming very soon. I advise we leave God’s wrath and its timing in His capable hands.

I believe also that it will be any time. I pray that all that are able, will hear God calling us to Himself and respond with acceptance for eternal life with our Lord Jesus the Christ.
